BRE team 2025-level doctoral student Ruobin Sun was awarded the Tsinghua University Future Scholar Scholarship.

Recently, the list of winners of the 2025 Future Scholar Scholarship of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, was officially announced. Sun Ruobin, a 2025-level doctoral student from Prof. Zhuo Xiong’s Research Group (BRE team) of the Bio-Manufacturing Center, was awarded the second prize (only 2 students in the whole department won the first and second prizes in total).

The "Future Scholar Scholarship" is specifically designed to attract, select and fund students with firm academic aspirations and outstanding academic potential to pursue doctoral degrees. The funding targets of the "Future Scholar Scholarship" are full-time academic degree doctoral students who are not entrusted or directed by any unit. The "Future Scholar Scholarship" is evaluated by the Graduate Award and Aid Working Leading Group of the department during the enrollment of doctoral students.
